Microtrenching

Microtrenching

We're proud to be able to offer microtrenching, a specialized construction method used to install fiber-optic or low-voltage utilities by creating a narrow, shallow trench in asphalt or concrete. It's revolutionizing technique uses small narrow trenches to install conduit. The small trenches typically range from ¾" to 2" wide and 6" to 18" deep, allowing conduit to be placed quickly with minimal disruption to roadways, sidewalks, or existing infrastructure. This allows for a faster and less disruptive conduit installation. The trench is then backfilled with an approved slurry or grout, resulting in faster restoration and a reduced impact compared to traditional open-cut excavation.

We remain committed to growing and improving this innovative service as the utility industry continues to evolve. Come discover new levels of safety, quality and efficiency with Fox Underground Services.
